Anti-Bullying Policy
1. Policy Statement
H.P. Modi School is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all. Bullying in any form—verbal, physical, social, or online—is strictly prohibited and will be dealt with seriously.
2. Purpose
- Prevent bullying through awareness and clear rules.
- Encourage students to report without fear.
- Ensure quick and fair response to all incidents.
3. What is Bullying?
Bullying is repeated, intentional behavior that causes harm. It includes:
- Verbal: teasing, name-calling, threats.
- Physical: hitting, pushing, damaging belongings.
- Social: exclusion, spreading rumors, public humiliation.
- Cyber: online threats, abuse, or humiliation.
4. Roles and Responsibilities
- Staff: Monitor behavior, respond to reports, and support victims.
- Students: Treat everyone with respect and report bullying.
- Parents: Stay informed and support your child and the school.
- School: Investigate all complaints and take action.
5. Reporting & Response
- Any bullying should be reported to a teacher or counselor.
- The school will act quickly and fairly.
- Consequences may include warning, counseling, parent meetings, or suspension.
6. Prevention & Support
- Conduct awareness programs and life skills sessions.
- Encourage kindness, empathy, and inclusion.
- Provide counseling for both victims and offenders.
7. Policy Review
The policy will be reviewed annually and revised as needed.
